Being the child of politically active parents I was always inspired by the people who'd fight for their rights.

This was a weird experience for me; ironically, the same body I hated for most of my life is now paid for to be “used”. Most of them don’t see me as a person, and I have gotten adjusted to that.

However, I refused to let this disease define me. I decided to use my experience to help others, and I started working with an NGO to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS.

I dream that one day ShhorAI will help make the internet more safe and inclusive for marginalized people and pave the way for better intersectional advocacy.

They don’t look at my age; they make video calls and talk for hours with me.
